At Destiny Church, our beliefs are rooted in Scripture and lived out by the power of the Holy Spirit.

1. Salvation by Grace Through Faith

Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received entirely through personal faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Through His death and resurrection, we are forgiven, justified, and born into the family of God. (Ephesians 2:8–9, John 1:12–13)

2. Water Baptism

Water baptism by immersion is an outward sign of God's inward transforming power. It symbolizes our identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection as we step into newness of life. (Romans 6:3–4, Matthew 28:19)

3. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a distinct and empowering experience available to every believer. It releases spiritual gifts, bold witness, and supernatural power to build up the Church and impact the world. (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, 1 Corinthians 12:4–11)

4. Transformation of the Believer

We believe the Christian life is a journey that begins with being born again and continues through discipleship into spiritual maturity. As we renew our minds with Scripture and yield to the Holy Spirit, we are transformed into Christ’s likeness to fulfill our divine purpose. (Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 3:18)

5. The Authority of Scripture

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and living Word of God. It serves as the final authority for all matters of faith, doctrine, conduct, and daily living. (2 Timothy 3:16–17)

6. Priestly Ministry

We believe worship is far more than singing songs—it is a sacred offering. As a royal priesthood, we offer continual sacrifices of praise and good works directly to God, creating an atmosphere where His glory is revealed, His presence dwells, and lives are transformed. (1 Peter 2:9, Hebrews 13:10–15)

7. Historical Christianity

We stand with the timeless biblical truths passed down through the rich history of the church. Foundational truths, such as the Apostles' Creed, unite the Body of Christ across denominations and through the generations. (1 Corinthians 15:3–4, Acts 17:11)

8. Living by Faith

We believe active faith is trusting in who God declares Himself to be and resting in His written Word. As we speak, pray, and act in alignment with Scripture, we experience God's promises in every area of life. (Hebrews 11:1, Mark 11:22–24)

9. The Kingdom of God

We believe in the present reality and future fullness of God's Kingdom. Christ calls us to partner with Him in bringing heaven to earth, advancing His reign in hearts through the power of the Gospel. (Matthew 6:10, Matthew 28:18–20)

10. Divine Healing

We believe divine healing—physical, emotional, and spiritual—is provided through the atonement of Christ. We pray for the sick, believing God performs signs, wonders, and miracles today. (James 5:14–15, Isaiah 53:5)

11. The Mission of the Church

We believe the Church exists to preach the good news of Jesus Christ, make disciples of all nations, and demonstrate His Kingdom through practical service and generous outreach. (Matthew 5:14–16)

12. Eternal Hope

We look forward with joyful expectation to the resurrection of the body and the ultimate fulfillment of God's redemptive plan when Christ returns in glory, establishing His rule and making all things new. (1 Corinthians 15:51–53, Revelation 21:1–5)
